As part of your onboarding process, you will meet with one of our financial counselors during an early visit. Their role is to help you understand your insurance coverage, expected costs, and any financial responsibilities related to your treatment. They are also available anytime you have questions about your account, insurance benefits, or billing statements—whether you’re just starting care or already in treatment.
Our financial counselors can assist with:
- Reviewing your insurance plan, including deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums.
- Explaining prior authorizations and helping coordinate required approvals with your insurance company.
- Estimating treatment costs, so you have a clear picture of what to expect.
- Discussing patient assistance programs, including manufacturer support, foundation grants, or other financial aid that may help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses.
- Setting up payment plans or exploring flexible payment arrangements.
- Helping you understand and manage medical bills, from explanations of benefits (EOBs) to claim denials and appeals.
